Current Public Releases

[Rocpanda 3.0]: Rocpanda is the version of Panda used in the codes of the Center for Simulation of Advanced Rockets at the University of Illinois. Rocpanda includes support for active buffering.
[Panda 3.0]: We use this 1999 release internally as a basis for building extensions and conducting experiments not targeted specifically toward the Center for Simulation of Advanced Rockets.

[Panda 2.0]: This early release contains the first public release of an implementation of server-directed I/O. Tar file only.
[Panda 2.1]: This 1997 release has an abundance of excellent documentation that we still find useful within our group.
[Self-optimizing Panda]: A self-optimizing version of Panda 2.1 for the old IBM SP at Argonne National Laboratory, along with a set of sample experiment scripts. This release is described in the publications by Ying Chen. Tar file only.
